Birth Strong: Preparing Your Body and Mind for Birth

Register now

Birth Strong is more than a childbirth class.

It's an opportunity to prepare your body, mind &  heart for one of life's most transformative experiences.

Through evidence-based education, practical tools, and honest conversations, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the birth process and leave feeling informed, empowered, and equipped to navigate the unexpected with confidence. Rather than striving for a "perfect" birth, our goal is to help you feel grounded, capable, and prepared to make decisions that align with your values as your unique birth story unfolds.

You'll learn how to work with your body instead of against it—building awareness of your pelvic floor and core, practicing breathing and movement strategies, and understanding how your nervous system influences your birth experience. You'll discover ways to reduce fear, support labor progress, advocate for your needs, and trust in your own strength and intuition. Whether you hope for an unmedicated birth, plan to use pain relief, are preparing for a VBAC, or simply want to understand your options, you'll gain practical knowledge that allows you to approach birth with greater clarity and confidence.

As you prepare to welcome your baby, we'll also look beyond the delivery room. Together, we'll explore the realities of early postpartum recovery, newborn feeding and care, partner support, and the emotional transition into parenthood. Our hope is that you leave not only feeling ready to give birth, but ready to enter this next chapter feeling supported, informed, resilient, and deeply connected to the incredible work your body was designed to do.

Birth is beautiful. Birth is hard. Birth is sacred.

It has the power to stretch us, humble us, and reveal strengths we never knew we possessed. I'm Stephanie and through my own experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery with my 6 children, I've come to believe that while we can't control every aspect of how birth unfolds, we can prepare to meet it with knowledge, confidence, and trust in ourselves. That belief is what inspired Birth Strong. My background includes a BA in Psychology, training as a Registered Yoga Teacher, specialized certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES), and years of experience supporting women through the many transitions of motherhood. I combine that with twenty-two years of lived experience as a homeschooling, organic-gardening, sourdough-baking, herbal tea-loving, barefoot beach mama who believes in both evidence-based care and the healing power of sunshine, nourishing food, and slowing down enough to listen to our beautiful bodies.
